The figure is shown in regal attire with a crowned or helmeted head, arms extended laterally, holding what appears to be a sceptre or lance in the left hand and a heraldic object in the right. Schematic Romanesque rendering typical of late 12th-century Polish bracteate coinage, with bold, stylised lines accentuating the frontal posture.
