| Obverse description | Single-sided bracteate struck on a thin silver flan. The central field depicts a frontal bust of a prince or ruler, rendered in a schematic Romanesque style, flanked by a second, smaller figure to the right. To the left of the main figure, a cross-headed scepter or staff is visible. An inscription in retrograde or crude Latin letters appears in the upper field, partially legible, within a beaded inner border. The outer border consists of a continuous row of pellets following the irregular edge of the flan. |
