| Descrizione del dritto | A heraldic eagle displayed with spread wings, rendered in a stylized Romanesque manner, occupies the central field of this thin silver bracteate. The bird is depicted facing forward with both wings raised and spread symmetrically, feathers indicated by fine parallel striated lines along the wing surfaces. A central vertical element, resembling a column or chalice-like form, rises between the wings along the central axis. Small pellets or annulets are visible in the upper field flanking the eagle's head. The entire composition is enclosed within a raised circular border, typical of Piast dynasty bracteate coinage, with the irregular flan edge showing the characteristic scalloped profile of hammered production. |
