The bird is depicted facing forward with both wings raised and spread symmetrically, feathers indicated by fine parallel striated lines along the wing surfaces. A central vertical element, resembling a column or chalice-like form, rises between the wings along the central axis. Small pellets or annulets are visible in the upper field flanking the eagle's head. The entire composition is enclosed within a raised circular border, typical of Piast dynasty bracteate coinage, with the irregular flan edge showing the characteristic scalloped profile of hammered production. |
