| 裏面の説明 | As a bracteate, this coin is struck from a single die on a thin silver flan, producing an incuse mirror image on the reverse. The reverse consequently shows the sunken negative impression of the obverse design: a crowned frontal bust with arms extended, the beaded crown and facial features visible in intaglio relief. The characteristic shallow, irregular surface of the hammered flan is evident, with no independent reverse design or legend. |

Leszek the White's tenure over Kraków was interrupted twice — he was expelled by Mieszko III in 1198 and again faced challenges from rival Piast claimants throughout his rule — which makes attributing bracteates to specific phases of his reign nearly impossible. These coins were struck on foil-thin flans by a single-die process, the design punched through from one side, producing the characteristic mirror impression on the reverse.
