Obverse description Frontal bust of a crowned princely figure, depicted in a schematic Romanesque style characteristic of early Polish medieval bracteates. The effigy wears a beaded crown adorned with pellets along its upper edge, and displays a bearded face rendered with summary but expressive detail. The bust appears draped in princely attire, with the arms extended slightly to either side, the right hand possibly holding a sceptre or lance shaft rendered as a vertical striated element. The entire design is contained within a plain raised border, with the field left unlettered.
