| Reverse description | As a bracteate, this coin is struck on a single thin flan with the design showing as an incuse mirror impression on the reverse. The reverse exhibits the faint, incuse counterpart of the obverse foliate and central omega-shaped motif, with the beaded border partially visible. The surface is plain and unadorned beyond the incuse relief transferred from the obverse die, which is consistent with standard bracteate manufacturing technique of medieval Scandinavia. |
