Obverse description Central field occupied by a heraldic shield bearing the arms of the Bishopric of Speyer, divided per pale with a cross in the dexter half and horizontal bars in the sinister half, surmounted by a mitre above the shield. The entire device is enclosed within a beaded inner border forming a near-complete circle. The coin exhibits the characteristic thin, uniface fabric of a bracteate, struck on a broad, irregularly shaped flan.

Reverse description As a bracteate, the reverse presents an incuse mirror image of the obverse design, showing the heraldic shield and mitre in sunken relief against the plain silver flan, with the beaded border visible in corresponding incuse form. The surface is unadorned beyond this incuse impression, consistent with standard bracteate production technique.
