Obverse description Single-sided bracteate depicting two crowned, enthroned figures facing forward in a symmetrical composition, each wearing a ornate crown with pellet decoration. The left figure holds an orb surmounted by a cross between the two, while both figures are shown in regal robes with stylised drapery rendered in the Romanesque manner. A partial legend runs along the inner border on both sides of the figures. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle bordered by a plain outer rim, characteristic of Frankfurt mint bracteate coinage of the late 12th century.

Reverse description As a bracteate, this coin has no true reverse; the reverse shows the incuse mirror image of the obverse design, as is typical of this thin single-sided hammered coinage. The incuse impression reveals the outline of the two enthroned crowned figures and the central orb, with faint traces of the border visible on the reverse face.
