| Beschrijving voorzijde | Two episcopal croziers crossed saltire-wise at center, their curled volutes flanking the intersection, set within a plain inner circle. A six-petalled rosette occupies the upper field above the crossing, while a crescent moon is positioned in the lower field below. The entire design is enclosed within a broad outer border composed of a continuous row of raised beads, characteristic of South German bracteate coinage of the mid-thirteenth century. The flan is of irregular outline, as is typical of hammered bracteates of this period. |
