Obverse description Enthroned frontal figure of the duke, depicted in regal attire with a sceptre held upright in the right hand and an orb or similar regalia in the left; the ruler is rendered in a schematic, Romanesque style characteristic of 13th-century Polish bracteates. Flanking elements, possibly architectural or heraldic motifs, appear at either side of the central figure. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle bordered by a continuous outer pearl border. Small annulets and decorative symbols are distributed within the field around the effigy.
