| Mô tả mặt trước | Central field displays a walking lion passant to the right in high relief, rendered in the Romanesque style typical of 12th-century German bracteates. The lion is set within a circular inner border formed by a raised ring, surrounded by a Latin legend distributed around the circumference. The design is further framed by multiple concentric raised ridges that form the characteristic decorative border of the bracteate type. The thin silver flan shows slight irregularity at the edges, consistent with hand-struck production. The overall composition is bold and heraldic, referencing the Ascanian dynastic symbol of Bernhard of Saxony. |
