The figure is shown wearing a crown and imperial regalia, holding a sceptre in the left hand and an orb or additional attribute in the right. The composition is enclosed within a beaded inner border, itself surrounded by a plain raised rim, with the broad flat flan typical of bracteate technique producing a shallow but detailed relief. The design displays the bold, hieratic artistic conventions of Hohenstaufen-period die engraving, with stylized drapery folds articulated across the seated figure. |

The reverse therefore exhibits the negative impression of the enthroned imperial figure, with the beaded border and raised rim visible in corresponding relief. No independent reverse design or legend is present, which is characteristic of all bracteate coinage of this period and region. |
