| Obverse description | A large uncial letter S in relief at centre, surmounted by a royal crown, with a pellet to the left of the letter, all contained within a plain raised ring border. The design is executed in the bracteate tradition, struck from a single die on a thin, broad flan with characteristic concave reverse impression. The bold, simplified letterform and crown reflect the royal attribution to Albert of Mecklenburg, King of Sweden. |
