Opis awersu	Bracteate type struck on a thin, irregularly shaped flan. Central device depicts the arms of the city of Erfurt: a cartouche-style shield bearing a six-spoked wheel, rendered in Gothic style. The shield is surmounted by a plain horizontal bar forming the top of the frame. Above the shield, the Gothic inscription +E+ appears in the field, serving as an abbreviated legend identifying the issuing city. The overall design is characteristic of late medieval German municipal bracteate coinage.
