The cross arms are broad and slightly wedge-shaped, characteristic of Bohemian hammered coinage of the late tenth and early eleventh centuries. A Latin legend runs around the periphery, partially legible due to the irregular flan and die wear. The overall design reflects the Ottonian influence prevalent in contemporary Central European deniers. |
