The marten, a heraldic symbol of Slavonia, is rendered in a stylized medieval manner within a plain inner circle. Surrounding the inner circle is the circular Latin legend, bordered on the outer edge by a continuous beaded rim. The overall design reflects the characteristic hammered workmanship of 13th-century Central European deniers. |

| Opis rewersu | Central design features a large double-barred patriarchal cross with fleurs-de-lis terminating each arm, dividing the field into four quadrants. In the upper left quadrant appears a six-petalled rosette, in the upper right a crescent and a small annulet, while the lower quadrants each contain a fleur-de-lis motif. The cross is set within a plain inner circle enclosed by a rope-twist or cable border, itself surrounded by an outer beaded rim. The composition is characteristic of Hungarian-Slavonian ecclesiastical coinage of the mid-13th century. |
