Opis awersu	Crude helmeted bust of Saint Audomar facing right, rendered in low relief in the primitive Carolingian hammered style typical of 10th-century ecclesiastical issues. The head is depicted with a pointed helmet formed by a cluster of pellets or beaded relief elements, with rudimentary facial features. The surrounding field is flat and irregular, consistent with hand-struck billon coinage of the period. A circular legend surrounds the effigy, reading in Latin the name of the patron saint of the abbey.
