| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field bears a plain cross pattée in bold relief, with a six-pointed star occupying the upper right canton and an annulet in the upper left canton, serving as the distinctive privy marks that identify this anonymous type. The cross is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, beyond which the circumferential legend is arranged. The outer legend reads ✠ DE SILVINIACO in Roman capitals, referencing the town of Souvigny and its celebrated Cluniac priory. The flan edges are irregular, characteristic of hammered billon production of the mid-thirteenth century. The overall composition follows the standard feudal denier format prevalent in the Bourbonnais region. |
