| Obverse description | Within a temple or arcade motif, a two-line Latin inscription occupies the central field, rendered in crude, irregular letterforms characteristic of 11th-century ecclesiastical coinage. The architectural surround is formed by stylized pillars or arches framing the legend. A circular border legend in Latin runs around the periphery of the coin. The overall style reflects the anonymous abbatial coinage tradition of the Low Countries during the Ottonian-Salian period. |

| Reverse description | A short cross pattée occupies the central field, with a small pellet or ball at the tip of each arm, a design typical of 11th-century Lotharingian ecclesiastical deniers. The surrounding legend, rendered in retrograde Latin, runs clockwise around the cross. The lettering is crude and irregular, consistent with hammered coinage of this period, and the flan is characteristically irregular in shape. |
