Central shield bearing the heraldic eagle of the County of Görz-Gorizia, rendered in Gothic style within a beaded inner circle. The shield is depicted in a pointed Gothic form typical of late 13th-century Central European coinage. Surrounding the central device, a circular uncial legend reads ALBERTVS COMES GORICIE, identifying the issuer as Albert I, Count of Gorizia. The legend is contained between an inner beaded border and an outer toothed rim. The overall die work is characteristic of hammered Austrian deniers of the period, with slightly irregular flan edges. |

A long cross extending to the beaded inner circle divides the reverse field into four quadrants, each containing alternating stars and crescents as decorative devices. The cross arms are plain and bold, consistent with the denier tradition of the region. A circular uncial legend, divided and partially interrupted by the cross terminals, surrounds the central motif between two beaded borders. The lettering reads DE LV ON SE, representing a fragmented rendering of the mint or territorial attribution. The outer rim is defined by a toothed or rope-like border, in keeping with hammered coinage practice of the period. |
