Opis rewersu	Central field dominated by a plain Latin cross in bold raised relief, with equal-length arms extending toward the beaded border, a design derived from Carolingian and Byzantine monetary traditions adapted by the Beneventan mint. The surrounding legend, distributed around the periphery within the beaded circle, reads ARHANGALV MIH, a contracted Latinized invocation of Archangel Michael, patron and protector of the Lombard principality. Letter forms are irregular and somewhat crude, consistent with hammered provincial coinage of the mid-ninth century. The flan is slightly uneven at the edges, a typical characteristic of this series.
