| Obverse description | Central short cross pattée with splayed, triangular terminals set within a raised inner beaded circle. The arms of the cross extend toward the beaded border, with the angles of the cross visible in the four quadrants. Surrounding the inner circle, the circular Latin legend reads TARVISIVM, denoting the city of Treviso, introduced by a cross pommée. The flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the periphery, consistent with hand-struck hammered coinage of the period. |
