The surrounding legend IMP•TERTIO•III•VIR•R•P•C proclaims Antony as imperator for the third time and triumvir for the reconstitution of the republic. The reverse is enclosed within a border of beads, and the overall composition emphasizes Antony's dual claim to Dionysiac religious authority and supreme military command. |
