Obverse description Jugate bare heads of Julius Caesar and Octavian facing right, rendered in profile in the late Republican style. To the left of the busts, an olive branch; to the right, a lituus (augural staff). The two portraits are presented without legend, the elder Caesar placed behind and slightly overlapping the younger Octavian. The field is plain and the design is enclosed within a border of beads.
