Beschrijving voorzijde Laureate, cuirassed bust of Hadrian facing right, rendered in three-quarter front view, with the emperor's characteristic short beard and pronounced facial features typical of early Hadrianic portraiture. The cuirass is visible at the truncation of the shoulder, and the laurel wreath crowns the head in finely detailed relief. The surrounding Latin legend runs clockwise from lower left along the coin's periphery, partially divided by the bust. The flan exhibits the characteristic irregular shape of an early second-century hammered denarius, with some surface patination visible.

Beschrijving keerzijde The personification of Pietas, veiled and draped in flowing robes, stands facing left in a static, hieratic pose. Her right hand is raised in a gesture of supplication or offering, while her left arm rests at her side with drapery gathered about it. The figure is rendered in fine relief against a plain field, with the identifying inscription PIETAS appearing in the lower field to either side of the figure. The surrounding legend, continuing Hadrian's titulature, runs along the periphery of the irregularly shaped flan, with areas of weakness consistent with the hammered production technique.
