In her extended right hand she holds a poppy and corn-ears, emblems of abundance and provincial prosperity, while her left hand supports a cornucopia, a further symbol of plenty and harmony. The legend CONCORDIA PROVINCIARVM is disposed around the periphery in Latin capitals, referencing the political message of unity among the Roman provinces that Galba wished to project during his brief reign. |
