| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate head of Domitian facing right, with an aegis visible at the truncation of the neck, rendered in high relief with finely articulated curls of the laurel wreath. The portrait displays the characteristic strong-jawed Flavian physiognomy with a slightly fleshy neck. The encircling legend is incuse in a beaded border, reading continuously around the periphery of the flan. The overall style reflects the accomplished die-cutting of the Rome mint under the Flavian dynasty. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Minerva, helmeted and in martial posture, stands right atop a rostral column, brandishing a spear in her raised right hand and bearing a large round shield on her left arm. An owl, the goddess's sacred bird, perches to the right at the base of the column. The composition is bold and well-centred, with the figure occupying the full height of the reverse field. The legend is disposed in two horizontal lines in the exergue and around the upper periphery within a beaded border. |
