| Beschrijving voorzijde | Bare-headed bust of Clodius Albinus facing right, with short, curly hair and a full, close-cropped beard rendered in finely engraved detail. The portrait is rendered in the vigorous late Antonine–Severan style, with pronounced facial modelling and naturalistic treatment of the hair. The bust is truncated at the shoulder, draped, and faces right. The encircling legend reads D CL SEPT ALBIN CAES in Latin capitals, distributed around the periphery of the flan. |

The figure is rendered in the classical tradition, with drapery falling in defined folds. The reverse legend ROMAE AETERNAE is disposed in two lines around the field, proclaiming the eternity of Rome. |
