| Obverse description | Bare-headed bust of Clodius Albinus facing right, with short, curly hair and a full, close-cropped beard rendered in finely engraved detail. The portrait is rendered in the vigorous late Antonine–Severan style, with pronounced facial modelling and naturalistic treatment of the hair. The bust is truncated at the shoulder, draped, and faces right. The encircling legend reads D CL SEPT ALBIN CAES in Latin capitals, distributed around the periphery of the flan. |

| Reverse description | Roma personified seated left on a round shield, helmeted and draped, extending her right hand forward to present the Palladium — a small standing figure of Minerva — and holding a long sceptre upright in her left hand. The figure is rendered in the classical tradition, with drapery falling in defined folds. The reverse legend ROMAE AETERNAE is disposed in two lines around the field, proclaiming the eternity of Rome. |
