| Beschrijving voorzijde | Bare-necked, laureate bust of Emperor Claudius facing right, rendered in the realist portrait style characteristic of early Julio-Claudian imperial coinage. The laurel wreath, symbol of imperial and divine favour, is rendered with individual leaves clearly delineated around the head. The surrounding legend runs clockwise along the rim, separated from the portrait by a plain field. The overall die-work reflects the official Claudian style established at the Rome mint in the early years of his reign. |

| Opschrift voorzijde | TI CLAVD CAESAR AVG P M TR P (Translation: Tiberius Claudius Caesar, emperor (Augustus), high priest, holder of tribunician power.) |
| Beschrijving keerzijde | The winged figure of Pax-Nemesis advances briskly to the right, her robes in motion about her striding form. With her raised right hand she grasps a fold of her drapery, drawing it aside, while her extended left hand directs a caduceus downward toward a serpent at her feet, symbolising the subjugation of discord and the establishment of Augustan peace. The reverse legend PACI AVGVSTAE is distributed across the field, proclaiming peace as a divine gift of the new emperor. The composition is dynamic and charged with early Claudian political messaging, associating the emperor's accession with the restoration of civic and cosmic order. |
