Obverse description Bare-headed draped and cuirassed bust of the Emperor Caracalla facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Cilician civic coinage. The portrait displays the characteristic youthful features of Caracalla as Caesar, with short curled hair and strong facial profile. The paludamentum and cuirass are visible at the truncation, with fine detail in the folds of the drapery. The Greek imperial titulature legend runs around the periphery of the flan.
