The legend HERZOG WILHELM ZU WÜRTTEMBERG arcs along the top, with the dates 1848 and 1921 flanking the wreath below. The lower portion contains an 18-line inscription in relief reproducing the Duke's abdication address of 30 November 1918, with the maker's mark visible beneath the bust. |
