| Description du revers | Central field bears a two-line Latin motto in bold incuse lettering, reading INSTAR / OMNIUM, enclosed within a full wreath of oak leaves and acorns rendered in high relief. At the base of the wreath, the mintmark and replica production details appear, including the IPZS hallmark, silver fineness designation, and the year of reissue. The composition of the wreath is dense and naturalistic, characteristic of Renaissance medallic art. The overall design faithfully reproduces the reverse type of the original 1563 Lira of Savoy. |

This piece is one of a series of replica coins issued by IPZS in the early 1990s reproducing historical Italian monetary types. The original 1 Lira was struck under Emanuele Filiberto I of Savoy — the duke who recovered his territories from French and Spanish occupation after the Peace of Cateau-Cambrésis in 1559 and immediately set about consolidating monetary authority in Turin, replacing the fragmented coinage of the preceding occupation period.
The Banca di Roma connection places this within a commemorative or promotional context for that institution, though IPZS produced similar replica series for multiple clients during this decade.
