The legend BANQUE CENTRALE DES ETATS DE L'AFRIQUE DE L'OUEST is inscribed across the field to the right of the device, with the founding and anniversary dates 1 NOVEMBRE 1962 and 1 NOVEMBRE 1967 to the lower left. The engraver's initials RL appear in the lower exergue. |
