| 表面の説明 | Irregular oval billon ingot of cast form, the entire obverse field densely covered with multiple stamped impressions applied post-casting. The field bears a column of large Kanji characters reading 宝 (Hō, meaning 'treasure') repeated vertically along the right side, flanked on the left margin by a continuous vertical band of smaller stamped Kanji legends. Two circular Daikoku hall stamps are impressed into the field: one larger stamp in the upper-centre area and a smaller secondary stamp below it, each bearing Kanji within a raised circular border. Additional scattered official certification stamps appear across the surface, characteristic of the Edo Ginza assay and authentication practice for Hōei-period chōgin silver currency. |

| 裏面の説明 | The reverse presents the plain cast underside of the irregular oval billon ingot, exhibiting the characteristic granular and striated surface texture resulting from the casting process. The field is largely unadorned, with natural flow lines and minor surface irregularities intrinsic to the hand-cast production method employed at the Edo Ginza. A single faint small circular stamp impression is visible near the centre of the field, consistent with a quality or assay mark applied by mint officials. The overall surface shows natural toning and patination consistent with the billon alloy composition of .320 fine silver. |
