The date 1906 appears at the top of the field, the engraver's signature J. JOINDY is inscribed at lower left within the scene, and a rocaille cartouche in the lower exergue contains the Latin legend XXI VIRI BURDIGALENSES COMMERCIIS REGENDIS. |
