The figure is rendered in the Hellenistic tradition, conveying motion and victory. The Greek royal legend BAΣIΛEΩΣ TIΓPANOY (of King Tigranes) is inscribed in two vertical columns flanking the central figure, reading downward on either side.

附加信息	Tigranes II ruled what briefly became the largest empire between Rome and Parthia, stretching at its peak from the Caspian to the Mediterranean. This bronze issue falls within the decades of maximum Armenian power, before Lucullus pushed Tigranes back across the Euphrates in 69 BC and permanently ended Armenian ambitions in Syria.
