| Mô tả mặt sau | Two military trophies — a macedonian kausia or crested Macedonian helmet flanked by lance tips — are depicted in the upper and lower registers of the reverse field, representing the emblems of Macedonian military power. Between the two trophies, the Greek letters ΒΑ appear prominently in the central field, serving as an abbreviation of ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ (King Alexander). The upper device appears as a bow case or quiver rendered in relief, while the lower shows a club or torch with a branch, consistent with Price 377 type. The composition is bold and symmetrical, characteristic of Macedonian royal bronze issues struck under Alexander III. |
