| Obverse description | Stylized castle rendered in squared geometric elements, comprising a central tower flanked by two lateral towers, each constructed of two distinct bodies without battlements. The outer wall is depicted with a curved base formed by a row of small rectangular units. The overall design is highly schematic and characteristic of the ceitil coinage tradition, executed in a flat, graphic style typical of late medieval Portuguese hammered copper issues. A partial circular legend in uncial Latin characters surrounds the castle in the field. |
