Obverse description A schematized human figure rendered in Celtic artistic style, depicted in full stride moving to the left, with a prominent ringlet or annulet detail visible on the body. The field is dominated by a large stylized star motif, characteristic of Gallo-Belgic coinage, occupying much of the available flan. The die work is executed in the abstract, geometric manner typical of late Iron Age Celtic bronze coinage. The flan is irregular and slightly compact, consistent with cast production methods of the period.
