| Obverse description | Facing head rendered in a schematic Gaulish style, with broad, deeply struck features including prominent brow ridges, wide-set eyes, and an open mouth. The face fills nearly the entire flan, with the hair indicated by radiating relief lines around the perimeter. The design is characteristic of late La Tène Celtic coinage of the Aedui tribe. |
