The creature's legs and tail are shown with energetic, almost abstract linear detailing typical of Catuvellaunian bronze coinage. The abbreviated mint signature CAMV appears in the upper field, flanked by a beaded border running around the irregular flan. The overall composition is bold and dynamic, consistent with the workshop tradition of Camulodunum under Cunobelin. |
