The Meldi were a small Belgic people settled along the Marne valley, roughly centered on modern Meaux. Their bronze coinage is poorly documented in ancient sources — they appear only briefly in Caesar's Gallic War, noted as a tribe whose territory he passed through rather than subdued outright.
