| Obverse description | Bare male head facing right, rendered in a Celticised classical style with thick curling locks of hair arranged in bold relief. The facial features are schematically depicted with a prominent rounded eye and strong jaw characteristic of late Iron Age Celtic die-cutting. The Latin legend TASCIAVA is disposed around the periphery of the field, partially visible to the right of the bust. The flan is irregular in shape, as typical of hammered Celtic bronze issues of this period. |
