The single-sided striking technique results in the reverse bearing no independent design; the flan surface displays the natural texture of hammered silver with minor flow lines and striking irregularities consistent with medieval mint practice. The raised border of the obverse corresponds to a recessed groove on the reverse. No legend, inscription, or additional device is present. |
