The effigy is rendered in bold relief typical of Indo-Greek coinage, with clearly delineated facial features. The surrounding Greek legend reads BAΣIΛEΩΣ HAΡΔOTOY, identifying the ruler as King Heliodotos. The inscription is arranged around the periphery of the square flan, partially visible due to the compact format of the quarter stater denomination. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Standing figure of Herakles facing, crowning himself with a wreath held aloft in his right hand, with a club resting to his side and a lion skin draped over a palm frond to his left. The composition follows the standard Herakles type common to Indo-Greek coinage, rendered in compact but vigorous relief on the square gold flan. A pellet above a monogram or single letter appears in the inner left field, with traces of additional monogram or control marks to the right. The Kharosthi legend surrounds the type, identifying the issuer in the Prakrit language. |
