| Reverse description | Standing figure of Herakles facing, crowning himself with a wreath held aloft in his right hand, with a club resting to his side and a lion skin draped over a palm frond to his left. The composition follows the standard Herakles type common to Indo-Greek coinage, rendered in compact but vigorous relief on the square gold flan. A pellet above a monogram or single letter appears in the inner left field, with traces of additional monogram or control marks to the right. The Kharosthi legend surrounds the type, identifying the issuer in the Prakrit language. |
