| Obverse description | Helmeted and cuirassed bust of King Heliodotos facing right, depicted in Hellenistic style with a close-fitting crested helmet and armored breastplate. The effigy is rendered in bold relief typical of Indo-Greek coinage, with clearly delineated facial features. The surrounding Greek legend reads BAΣIΛEΩΣ HAΡΔOTOY, identifying the ruler as King Heliodotos. The inscription is arranged around the periphery of the square flan, partially visible due to the compact format of the quarter stater denomination. |
