A standing armed attendant or soldier appears behind the emperor. The scene commemorates Trajan's reorganization of eastern client kingdoms during the Parthian campaign. The legend REGNA ADSIGNATA is disposed in the field to left and right of the central figural composition, with no exergual inscription. |
